I am a genuinely nice guy. I don't have any enemies. I like to make people laugh even if it's at my own expense. And I like to laugh. Life is short and I want to enjoy as much of it as often as I can. For every 60 seconds you spend depressed you lose a minute of happiness you'll never get back. I am very energetic. I can sleep when I'm dead. I am a do-it-yourselfer. There's no better reward than putting your own mind and hands into something. I may not be perfect at some things, but I know a little something about almost everything. I have my own house where I live with my long-hair Chihuahua. I've been in two long relationships and I'm not in any hurry to get back to that. I'm looking for someone who doesn't feel like they HAVE to be married to be normal. I don't like to be normal. I like to go against the grain. I don't like to do things just because that's what everyone else does. BE YOURSELF!
I admit I may have a few lines in my face. But they are not wrinkles from age. They are character lines from making faces and laughing. It is rare to find a photo of me where I have a serious face (see photos). I am an artist at heart. And if I'm going to be the subject of a photograph, I am going to add character. When people look at pictures of me at my funeral or after I'm gone, they will see my personality...not a frozen statue with cheezy smile.

I always like a first date over a few drinks. Drive separate. Leave when you want. I like this for many reasons. The alcohol relaxes you. Everybody's at least a little nervous on the first date. No need for fancy and stuffy as far as I'm concerned. I want you to see me for who I am, not who I can act like. The purpose of a first date for me is to get to know you, not to impress you. If you like me for who I am, you will naturally be impressed. You can't get to know anyone in a movie theater.
